223 Marketplace

NFC-connected collectibles marketplace — complete Phase 1 frontend, from discovery and reveal to checkout, orders and admin.

Overview

223 connects physical NFC-enabled collectibles with digital ownership. Before committing to a backend, the team needed a complete, realistic frontend to validate the product with stakeholders.

I built and refined that Phase 1 prototype: every core journey, with realistic mock data and reusable components, treated with commerce-first UX rather than placeholder screens.

My role

Frontend engineer — built the complete Phase 1 prototype for stakeholder validation.

What I shipped
  • Marketplace discovery and product pages
  • Reveal experiences for NFC-connected items
  • Checkout, collection and order journeys
  • Rewards, community, profile and settings areas
  • Admin journeys
  • Reusable component library over realistic mock data
Engineering notes

A validation prototype only works if it behaves like a real product — the mock data layer was structured like the future API so screens wouldn't need rethinking when the backend arrived.

Bridging a physical object to digital ownership makes the reveal moment the emotional core of the product; it got the most design and interaction attention.
