Aaqib Sheikh — Senior Full-Stack & Product EngineerOne engineer.Whole product.
Eight-plus years building fintech, SaaS and Web3 systems end to end — React and TypeScript up front, NestJS and PostgreSQL behind, wallets, KYC and staking in between. I take products from unclear requirements to production.
Not side projects — systems in production.
Five products I've helped build, and what made each one hard. The depth lives in the case studies.
Assetize
Fintech · Lending · Compliance2023 — PresentAlternative-asset lending platform — KYC/KYB onboarding, wallets, transactions and multi-role workflows.
GamiLabs / Blackbook
DeFi · Vaults · Dashboards2026DeFi vault product — private vault access, TVL and allocation dashboards, deposits and redemption states.
TIPSY
Web3 · Multi-Chain Staking2023Multi-chain staking dApp — stake, upgrade, unstake and harvest flows with tier rules and precise token math.
223 Marketplace
Commerce · NFC Collectibles2026NFC-connected collectibles marketplace — complete Phase 1 frontend, from discovery and reveal to checkout, orders and admin.
The whole stack, owned by one person.
Not a wall of badges — four areas I actually work across, from unclear requirements to production.
Frontend that feels premium
Interfaces people trust with money — complex state, real-time data, accessibility, and detail work that survives contact with designers.
Backends that don't fall over
APIs, queues and event-driven flows built for retries, duplicates and partial failure — because production is never the happy path.
Data & delivery
Relational modeling where correctness matters, transactions that stay consistent, and CI/CD that ships without drama.
Web3 & product systems
Wallets, staking, KYC/KYB, escrow, multi-tenant roles — transaction-heavy systems where precision and failure recovery are the feature.
Eight years in production.
The short version. The resume has the details.
Senior Web3 & Full-Stack Engineer
Full-stack feature ownership on a lending and compliance platform — KYC/KYB, wallets and transactions, event-driven notifications, multi-tenant roles.
Blockchain Developer
NFT and dApp interfaces, IPFS media uploads, integrations with OpenSea, Decentraland and Blockscout.
Full-Stack Developer
Client products with Vue, Nuxt, Node and Web3 — NFT marketplace features, wallet-connected flows, trading automation.
Earlier roles
Vue product interfaces, Rails API integration, ERP systems, PHP APIs and hybrid mobile apps.
Product first. Then the simplest thing that survives production.

I'm a senior full-stack engineer with 8+ years building production applications across frontend, backend and integrations. Most of that time has been spent on fintech platforms, SaaS products and Web3 systems, usually working directly with product managers, CTOs and founders to take features from unclear requirements to production.
Recent work leans transaction-heavy — lending flows, wallets, staking, escrow — where correctness, precision and failure recovery matter more than novelty.
I work remotely from Lahore, Pakistan, with teams across Europe and the US.

The questions that come up in first calls — answered up front.
What are you looking for right now?
Senior full-stack roles and serious product work — a full-time remote position or a substantial build with real ownership. Email is the fastest way to start that conversation.
Frontend or backend?
Both, genuinely. I'm strongest owning a feature across the stack — React or Next.js on the front, NestJS or Node with PostgreSQL behind it, and the integrations in between. Most of my recent work is exactly that shape.
Can you join an existing team and codebase?
Yes — that's most of my last three years. At Assetize I own features inside a large existing product, working directly with product managers and a CTO, through code review, in code I didn't write. Greenfield is fun; production is home.
Is Web3 all you do?
No. It's one specialty among several — wallets, staking and contract integrations when the product needs them. The bulk of my work is classic product engineering: fintech flows, SaaS dashboards, compliance systems and commerce.
How do time zones work with you?
I'm in Lahore (UTC+5) and have worked remotely with European and US teams for years — full overlap with EU hours and comfortable overlap with US mornings. Async-first, with real availability for calls.
Have something
worth building?
I'm open to senior full-stack roles and serious product work. Email is the fastest way to reach me — I usually reply within a day.
